CC Technologies is pleased to announce the implementation of an Emergency Hotline that is monitored 24-hours per day, and 7 days per week. This hotline provides clients with immediate access to CC Technologies staff in the event of an emergency. Several clients have recognized that immediate mobilization of an independent laboratory can provide significant support for effectively managing a failure site from both a technical and legal standpoint. The CC Technologies Emergency Hotline can be directly incorporated into existing Emergency Response Plans.

CC Technologies staff will provide response that includes immediate technical support and immediate mobilization, if necessary. The unique capabilities provided by CC Technologies include the following:

• Preservation of evidence
• Protocol for performing a failure investigation
• Visual examination and assessment of failure origin
• Detailed documentation of failure site
• Technical support in dealing with regulators including local regulatory agencies, DOT
  Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS), and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB)
• Support to public affairs personnel to provide accurate information on the failure
• Development of a strategy and requirements for returning the system to service
• Chain-of-custody forms for transferring evidence
• Facility that provides material handling, preservation of evidence, metallographic sample
  preparation, and examination (metallographs and scanning electron microscopy (SEM))
  for performing a complete failure investigation in-house.
  
• Access to technicians (24/7) to expedite failure investigations
  
• Legal support for civil and criminal litigation that may result from the incident.

How does it work?
Call the Emergency Hotline and leave your name, company, location of emergency, and two (2)
contact phone numbers. The Emergency Hotline will then contact one of the designated CC Technologies staff members. This staff member will then call you back immediately to assess the situation and develop a plan forward to support your needs.

This Emergency Hotline can be used by anyone. However, if you plan on incorporating this CC Technologies Hotline into your Emergency Response Plan, please let us know so that we are aware and can discuss details that may be required.
