DC
electrochemical techniques have been used for many years for
the evaluation of metallic corrosion. The professional staff
at CC Technologies has over 100 years of combined experience
in electrochemical testing, covering a broad range of material,
environment, and corrosion mode combinations. We have conducted
programs ranging from a few polarization resistance measurements
for alloy comparison to large research programs.
Our staff pioneered the use of
large scale, statistically designed test matrices for cyclic
potentiodynamic polarization evaluations. These studies included
the corrosion of stainless and nickel base alloys in flue
gas desulfurization systems, and the corrosion of carbon steel
at proposed high level nuclear waste sites.
