Accurate
laboratory simulations of corrosive conditions in the field
are frequently required for solving materials problems. In
many industries, testing under elevated temperatures and pressures
is necessary in order to simulate these corrosive conditions.
CC Technologies has extensive experience in the evaluation
of materials performance at elevated temperatures and pressures.
We have
two dedicated laboratories, containing over 20 autoclaves,
that are available to simulate a wide range of temperatures,
pressures, and environmental conditions.
| Capabilities
in autoclave testing include: |
| Standard Exposures in Aggressive Environments |
| Elastomer Evaluations
for the Chemical Process Industry |
| Electrochemical Testing (Polarization
Resistance, Potentiodynamic Polarization and Electrochemical
(AC) Impedance Spectroscopy) |
| Rotating Electrode |
| Mechanical Testing (Slow Strain Rate,
Constant Load, Fracture Mechanics, and Corrosion Fatigue) |
| Closed-Loop and Refreshed-Loop Circulation |
| Refreshed Gas Systems
|
Unique capabilities in autoclave testing
include high-purity water loops designed to simulate nuclear
or fossil power plant conditions, and super-heated steam systems
(up to 1400 F/1500 psig, 760 C /10.5 MPa).
| Projects
which have utilized our autoclave facilities include: |
| Crack-Propagation Studies for Power
Plant Components |
| Alloy Selection for
Heat Exchangers in the Chemical Process Industry |
| Slow-Strain-Rate Testing of Alloys
for Advanced Heating Systems |
| Evaluation of Fluid
Velocity Effects for Chemical Process and Sour Gas Services
|
| Alloy Evaluation for Pulp
and Paper Industry |
| Simulation of Internal Corrosion in
Natural Gas Pipelines |
We look forward to supplying
your high-temperature pressure autoclave testing needs.
