CC Technologies Achieves Fast 50 Award

Neil Thompson |
Business First, the central Ohio business
authority journal has recognized CC Technologies as a recipient
of the Fast 50 award, as an emerging company for growth and
performance the past three years.
CC Technologies is a research, testing, and
engineering firm specializing in corrosion control, materials
evaluation, and pipeline and facility integrity.
Sixteen years ago, Neil G. Thompson and his
wife, Terrie, were the lone employees of a small research
and testing firm they founded that year.
Today, that company, CC Technologies, has
eight offices in the United States and Canada, and contracts
that include a recent $5.5 milion project in Kuwait with the
Kuwait Oil Co.
Other projects have included pipeline integrity
programs for the Trans-Alaskan Pipeline and Trans-Canada Pipeline.
CC Technologies now employs 55 in the United
States and 35 in Canada, with its main offices in Dublin and
Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Satellite offices are present in Anchorage,
AK; Charleston, WV; Mount Pleasant, MI; Seattle, WA; Kamloops,
BC, Canada and Edmonton, AB, Canada.
Our slogan is solving corrosion
and materials problems through innovation. The firm
accomplishes this by our mix of 12 Ph.D. scientists and 35
engineers, which permits us to solve problems where other
pure engineering firms fail, said Thompson,
president and CEO.
CC Technologies has averaged
25 percent growth over the past five years and expects 15-20
percent growth in 2002. Patience and making the most of opportunities
have contributed greatly to the companys success, but
the staff also deserves a lot of credit, Thompson said.
