John Beavers, Ph.D., Executive Vice President
of CC Technologies Laboratories, Inc., was honored at the Pipeline
Research Council International (PRCI) 50th Anniversary Celebration
for his outstanding contributions to PRCI research. Dr. Beavers
has been performing PRCI research for the past twenty years
in the areas of stress corrosion cracking (SCC), protective
coatings and cathodic protection. He was recognized for his
outstanding contribution to the understanding of SCC mechanisms
and corrosion control practices for pipelines. John has been
the preeminent researcher in these areas for many years according
to Dr. Neil Thompson, CEO of CC Technologies who also served
as a panelist on the Emerging Technologies Session at the PRCI
Meeting in Leesburg, VA.
