CC Technologies Announces 2006 Strategic
Plan
“SOLVING PROBLEMS THROUGH INNOVATION”
12/30/02
By: Neil G. Thompson, Ph.D.
CEO, CC Technologies
CC
Technologies management team is pleased to announce our five-year
strategic plan (2002-2006) focusing on client satisfaction and
growth. As a result of the strategic plan developed in the first
quarter of 2002, CC Technologies established an additional operating
company (CC TECHNOLOGIES INTERNATIONAL, INC.) to better provide
services to our growing number of international clients. Dr.
Gerhardus (Gerry) Koch has been named Executive Vice-President
of CC TECHNOLOGIES INTERNATIONAL, INC. The growing international
business was highlighted last year, when a team led by CC Technologies
won one of the largest corrosion integrity consulting jobs ever
awarded in our industry. The integrity consulting covers all
aspects of internal corrosion for Kuwait Oil Company’s
facilities.
The strategic plan calls for continuation
of laboratory and engineering services in all aspects of corrosion
and materials degradation including pipelines, facilities
(chemical, petrochemical, power plants, pulp and paper, etc.),
highway structures, aircraft, and medical prostheses. CC Technologies
remains dedicated to providing an innovative work environment
to attract top scientists and engineers in corrosion, environmentally
assisted cracking, cathodic protection, corrosion inhibition,
coatings, high temperature creep, and fracture mechanics.

A focus area for growth is pipeline and facility integrity.
With nearly 50 engineers and researchers (including 14 Ph.D.
and 6 M.S. scientists) CC Technologies is one of the largest
independent corrosion science groups in the World. Our forward-looking
strategic plan is designed to keep CC Technologies as the top
service provider in our industry.
Our mission is to “provide our clients
with cost effective solutions to materials, corrosion, and
integrity problems through innovative and fundamentally sound
engineering practices.”
The principles by which we operate are:
- Quality and client satisfaction are most
important.
- Professional ethics and integrity must
always be preserved.
- Synergy between science and engineering
is the foundation for quality and client satisfaction.
- Understanding our client’s operations
is essential to develop practical solutions to their problems.
CC Technologies plans to more than double
its present size through 2006. This growth will be primarily
from internal growth of our existing capabilities, but strategic
acquisitions of engineering firms with similar philosophies
are expected. This growth will permit CC Technologies to continue
to expand the scope of our services to meet all of our clients
integrity needs.
