NEIL THOMPSON ELECTED NACE TREASURER

 Dr. Neil Thompson, CEO of CC Technologies, was elected Treasurer of NACE International. He has served on several NACE committees and has chaired several symposiums in his 26 years as a NACE member. Most recently, Dr. Thompson has served as Chairman of the Finance Committee and as member of the Research Committee.

Dr. Thompson says that NACE as an organization is strong with a healthy capital reserve fund, but faces many challenges in identifying and creating the necessary infrastructure to carry NACE into the next decade of changing and emerging Internet technology. These challenges are being met with a very capable and talented NACE staff. One of the primary challenges is for NACE to identify and to provide for memberĒs needs, as corrosion engineers perform their job duties in an ever-changing environment focussed on advancement in technologies and more demanding wok schedules. A primary responsibility as Treasurer will be to insure that NACE remains financially stable while meeting the challenges of the future.
