7 Industry Experts Accept Positions

CC Technologies is pleased to announce the
addition of 7 industry recognized experts to support on-going
projects and to continue to expand the capabilities and resources
provided:
- Tom Bubenik, Ph.D.
- John T. Schmidt
- Ernest W. Klechka Jr., P.E..

- Richard B. Eckert
- Angel Kowalski
- Jose Vera, Ph.D.
 Tom
Bubenik, Ph.D. - Vice President, Integrity for CC Technologies
Services, Inc. Tom has over 20 years of experience in project
management, inspection of pipelines, and solid mechanics.
He has authored or coauthored many publications and technical
reports and is considered an international expert in in-line
inspection for pipelines. Tom earned a PhD in Theoretical
and Applied Mechanics from Northwestern University and MS
and BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University
in St. Louis. Prior to joining CC Technologies, Tom held positions
with Battelle and Exxon Production Research Company. ( ).
 John
T. Schmidt - Senior Project Manager for CC Technologies
Services, Inc. John will continue to develop and support projects
related to corrosion, cathodic protection, and integrity for
the pipeline industry. John holds a BS in Mathematics and
has over 25 years of experience in corrosion control and pipeline
integrity management. Prior to joining CC Technologies, John
was Director of Pipeline Integrity for Corrpro and was with
Duke Energy. John is a NACE Certified Coating Inspector (Level
3) and NACE Corrosion Technologist. He will establish a local
office in Houston so that CC Technologies can better serve
its’ oil and gas related client base.

 Ernie
Klechka, Jr., P.E. - Senior Project Manager for
CC Technologies Services, Inc. Ernie has 30 years of experience
in corrosion, coatings, CP, welding and materials. . He
earned a BS in Metallurgical Engineering, an MS in Engineering
Mechanics, and an MS in Engineering Management. He is
a P.E. in Ohio and Alaska and a NACE Corrosion Specialist,
NACE Coatings Specialist and NACE Coating Inspector (Level
3). Ernie has run his own company for six years as Cormet
Engineering in Anchorage, Alaska. Prior to starting his
own company, he held positions with Alyeska Pipeline and
Exxon Chemical. He will be working in Dublin.

 Bruce
A. Cookingham – Senior Project Manager for
CC Technologies Services, Inc. Bruce has 25-years of experience
and has particular expertise with internal corrosion in
pipelines, system integrity, and training. While in pipeline
operations with ANR Pipeline Company/El Paso Energy, he
was an Internal Corrosion Consultant with responsibility
for providing guidance with design, development, monitoring,
documentation and control of internal corrosion programs.
He will join John Schmidt in establishing a local office
in Houston so that CC Technologies can better serve its’
oil and gas related client base.

 Richard
B. Eckert – Senior Project Manager
for CC Technologies Services, Inc. Rick has 20 years experience
and has particular expertise with internal corrosion in
pipelines, failure analysis, training and system integrity.
While in pipeline operations with ANR Pipeline Company/El
Paso Energy, he was Manager of Materials Testing for ANR,
overseeing all metallurgical, welding, NDE, and product
evaluation for the company. After the merger of Coastal
with El Paso, Rick was promoted to Manager of Laboratory
Services with responsibility for providing metallurgical,
chemical, and NDE support for the entire corporation.
Mr. Eckert earned a B.S. in Engineering Metallurgy from
Western Michigan University. Rick will establish a local
office in Michigan.

 Jose
Vera, Ph.D. - Senior Project Manager - Facilities Integrity
for CC Technologies Services Inc.
Jose has 24 years of experience in engineering, research
and project management in the oil industry. He earned
a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MS and Ph.D. in Chemistry
(Electrochemistry). Jose recently served as Technical
Manager for Research at PDVSA INTEVEP in Venezuela. Jose
will be working in Dublin. ( ). |
 Angel
Kowalski - Assistant Manager of Field Services.
Angel has 16 years of experience
in Corrosion and Cathodic Protection and has been managing
field services for a consulting company in Venezuela.
He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and is completing
his MS in Metallurgical Engineering. He is NACE Certified
CP Specialist. He has been very active in Direct Assessment.
He will be working in Dublin. ( ). |
