CC Technologies hosted the NACE Southwest
Ohio section meeting on Wednesday, December 14, 2005. 34 members
and guests attended from both local industry and student chapters.
Dr. Neil Thompson, president of NACE International, presented
a talk on the Present and Future of NACE, in which he outlined
the NACE strategy of reaching out worldwide to other societies
in places such as China and India, as well as NACE’s
work with the Department of Defense in their battle to reduce
corrosion costs.
