Ph.D. Inducted into Engineering Hall of Fame

CC Technologies founder and president Dr.
Neil Thompson was inducted into the state of Alabama, Engineering
Hall of Fame on February 19, 2005 at a ceremony held in Montgomery,
Alabama. Founded in 1987 by proclamation of the governor,
and in recognition of the sesquicentennial of formal engineering
education in the state of Alabama, the Engineering Hall of
Fame honors, preserves, and perpetuates the outstanding accomplishments
and contributions of individuals that have brought and continue
to bring significant recognition to the state of Alabama.
Dr. Thompson was honored for his significant contributions
to science and engineering as a Scholar-Executive dedicated
to fighting the $276
Billion Annual Corrosion Cost in the US.
Dr. Thompson is one of only a handful of
highly successful engineers and scientist with ties to Alabama
to be recognized by induction into the prestigious Hall of
Fame. In addition to Dr. Thompson, the Class of 2005 inductees
included Ralph Cunningham Retired CEO of CITGO, George Hopson
NASA Project Manager for the space shuttle main engine, Joe
Leonard Chairman and CEO of AirTran Airways, TK Mattingly
Rear Admiral US Navy (Ret.) and President of Rocket Development
company, and Thomas Patterson software pioneer, the founder
of several software companies and current CEO of DAXKO Inc.
