CC Technologies/MIST present
a new way to monitor your pipes and vessels: Introducing
The Ultrasonic Monitoring System
Probe Mount |
The CC Technologies/MIST
UT Monitor is an ultrahigh precision thickness-monitoring
device. With measurement precision ±0.00005 inches
and special transducers for high temperatures up to 500 C,
the UT Monitor determines the changes in wall thickness and
detects the presence and build-up of solids or liquids inside
the pipe or other process equipment.
This high precision non-intrusive corrosion/erosion,
and solids and sludge monitoring system can be used where
access is difficult or impossible for the traditional intrusive
coupon and probes. This is because the
CC Technologies/MIST UT Monitor is very small, has
an insensitivity to its operating environment and
features wireless operating capabilities, all of which make
it an ideal part of any localized or remote monitoring project.
Industrial Scale Test Facilities |
Once on-line, the UT Monitor provides
real-time imaging and information on:
- Wall thickness
- Presence of solids
- Liquid film heights and distribution
It can do this while monitoring multiphase
flows, separator efficiency, solids buildup, inhibitor
performance and corrosion and erosion activity.

Detection |
The CC Technologies/MIST
UT Monitor can be implemented into your existing pipe
and vessel system; its probe is simply clamped-on to an external
wall, meaning that no retrofitting is necessary.
The UT Monitor is available as a single point
measurement device or as
a multiplexed array system for simultaneous, on-line, real-time
monitoring at various locations using a centralized unit connected
to the remote sensors.
